Zone-S
The housing corporation TRUDO has been working on the transformation of STRIJP-S in Eindhoven into the city's new cultural hub. During the Social Cities of Tomorrow conference, 2012, Ellen Holleman was part of an international team of designers, artists, and researchers who jointly worked on a plan for Zone-S: a concept for a new platform for urban innovation in Strijp-S. In a second workshop in August 2012, the concept was further developed and tailored to the location of Strijp-S and local parties who could benefit from it, on behalf of Trudo.
The team consisted of Thomas Laureyssens, Lara Simons, Marc Böhlen, Nicole Martin, Panos Mavros, and Sander Baumann.
