Zaanse Verhalenbank
The Zaanse Verhalenbank is an artwork and storytelling project that was created in 2015 to collect stories about the rich history of manufacturing industries in the Zaan region. The Verhalenbank traveled through the area and was located on a deck barge, featuring parts, tools, and products from the local manufacturing industries to bring the past to life.
The initiative for the Zaanse Verhalenbank was led by the Stichting Zaanse Industriecultuur, and Holleman was responsible for its concept and design. She collaborated with a team of local artists and makers, including Sander Borsje, Daan ’t Sas, Joris van der Werff, Patrick Witbaard and Pieter Grandiek, to create the artwork.
