Roadscape III

Photograph and oil on paper
Roadscapes fascinate me. The travelling we all do, all the time. How we, humans, are going places every day, everywhere. We need paths and roads to be able to live our lives. You just have to confide that following the road that you're on will take you some place you want to be. If you’re lucky enough you to have a car to take you where you want to be. The more unfortunate ones walk, cycle or depend on public transport (if at all available). Not hard to understand why large groups in populations are having a harder time getting by. This painting shows a roadscape in Johannesburg, South Africa.
